Coffee/Tea Service
If you would like coffee/tea service provided by the building we can provide coffee, tea, sugar, and creamers with cups in the room on the day of the event.
Rates are $1.00 per cup plus 5% GST.

Bar
The Maritime Labour Centre has two wooden bar counters that we can provide for your event at no charge. Ideally these would be for the events being held in the Auditorium. These counters can be placed inside the hall or outside in the lobby area.
You can bring your own alcoholic and or non alcoholic beverages - no corkage fees apply.
A liquor license will need to be applied by the organizer of the event and posted on the bar on the day of the event.
INSURANCE: Event Insurance must be obtained by organizer mentioning The MLC as an additional insured and a copy of the insurance must be provided to The Building Manager.
STAFFING: On the day of your event if on the weekday evenings or weekends - there will be a janitor on site to close the venue after your event.
You can bring your own staff for catering or bar. Small Kitchen and ice maker is available.
We can provide staff if required for bartending at your event for an additional staffing charge. The staff will be SIR certified. We require at least two weeks notice to arrange bar staff. Please contact us at mlcentre@telus.net to the attention of Building manager and someone will be happy to co-ordinate with you and discuss with you all your bartending needs for your event.
